The Problem / Task

TFO machine (Two for one Twister machine) follows the two-stage process where the yarns are doubled and then twisted. In TFO process two or more single yarns are twisted in order to enhance the properties of the end-product.

TFO machine provides the strength and softness to the thread to have best quality product as an output. To make this possible TFO machine accepts the raw thread, twists it then heat it to a particular temperature to provide strength and softness to it.

Temperature controllers helps to achieve desired temperature of the heaters which is essential part in the operation of TFO machine.

The Solution

A RTD sensor is used to detect the temperature of heaters mounted on upper part of machine assembly. This is connected to temperature controller to monitor and maintain the temperature of the heaters at desired level. Heating to the desired level helps to provide strengthening and softness to yarn. Correct amount of heat helps to get best quality of thread as an output. 10A relay output helps to drive the heaters of 750W and also saves the additional cost of external SSR/ contactor. All the parameters of desired set point, effective set point, timer set value can be programmed from the home screen by using the shortcut keys which makes it highly user friendly for the end user.
