Temperature Control In Server Rooms

Server rooms and data centers consists of infrastructure to support network of computer systems. Typically, it includes fire suppression systems, cable management solutions and power systems which are operating 24×7 which may increase the server room temperature.

Overheating of server room causes malfunctioning of the systems which leads to loss of data and abnormal working of the systems in an organization. Temperature control relay helps to monitor and control the temperature of the server rooms.

Temperature Control Relay (TCR) is equipped with inbuilt temperature sensor. It senses the accurate variation in ambient temperature. Undesirable deviation is accurately sensed and then relay is actuated in order to give trip indication on the display of device. When ambient temperature goes below low set temperature or exceeds high set temperature relay device trips the relay the and relay on when it comes within a limit. In this way, TCR monitors and controls temperature within a defined limit and prevents the failures of critical servers. This helps to save server life and maintains healthy environment of server room. Display shows the actual ambient temperature which helps to monitor present temperature. LED indication provides relay indication.
