Job Description
A) General Information:
Job Title: Testing Manager – V&V [Verification and Validation]	Location:- Pune
Required Qualification: Bachelors or Master’s degree in ENTC, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.	Required Experience: 10+ Years
B) Job Purpose:
To oversee the design, development, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for embedded systems. Lead a team of test engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of embedded software and hardware products.

Key Accountabilities	Major Activities
Strategy and Planning	Develop and implement robust testing strategies, test cases for embedded systems to ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements. Create test plans, schedules, and methodologies tailored to embedded software and hardware products Should be in position to learn/understanding of Products along with application
Team Leadership	Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure efficient and effective testing practices Coordinate resources, assign tasks, and manage the team’s workload to meet project deadlines.
Testing Execution	Oversee the execution of test plans, including functional, performance, stress, and regression testing of embedded systems. Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Knowledge of tools like LabVIEW, Vision Builder, Vision Assistant, Selenium is preferred The incumbent must be experienced in traditional testing methodology such as HIL – Hardware in Loop, SIL – Software in Loop testing and awareness about new testing methodology such as TDD (Test Driven Design), BDD (Behaviour Driven Design), Augmented Testing
Collaboration	Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report test findings, risks, and recommendations.
Quality Assurance	Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and standards for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Functional/Technical Competencies
Primary:
EMI EMC Testing procedure, Instrument and standards
IEC, EN, UL, CISPR and CSA standards
Hardware and Functional competency of Timers, Time switches, PID controllers, PLCs, HMI, Voltage/Current monitoring relays, Communication protocols, etc.
