The purpose of the Signal Transducer is to isolate input, output and power supply electrically. The Signal Transducer acts as an isolator, fulfilling all requirements and regulation concerning electromagnetic compatibility EMC and safety. The device has one input and provides one output in a compact space-saving enclosure. Electrically isolated analog output prevents interference in voltage and current signals. It solves the grounding problem in meshed signal networks. High electric isolation between input and output and power supply provides 3-way galvanic isolation. GIC’s Signal Transducer works as a simple DC isolator to electrically isolate programmable input DC signal to programmable dc output signal.
Some of the features include
Input/Output configuration selected via DIP switch combinations
Choice of multiple analog input-output configurations
Provides 3-way galvanic isolation of 3.75kV
Fast Output Response Time (<100ms)
Sleek 22.5mm wide
Applications
The transducer types are used in electromechanical applications like accelerometers, LVDT, galvanometers, pressure sensors, load cells, MEMS, potentiometers, airflow sensors, linear & rotary motors.
