AC & Light Control In Atm Cabins

With the advent of digital banking in India the number of ATMs is increasing rapidly. On other hand Electricity usage is soaring great heights and requires day to day monitoring to reduce the amount of power consumed. To build sustainable and Green ATMs it is important to design control systems for optimum energy utilization in Air Conditioners and Lighting systems inside ATM cabins.

Smart Relay Genie consists of timer and real time based time switches function blocks which are programmed to automatically schedule air conditioners, at predetermined intervals. This would cycle the air conditioners between duty and standby units at predetermined intervals that are easily settable as per the required time setting. This helps to avoid burdening on single load and enhance the life of air conditioners. On delay timers can also be configured in the Smart Relay to avoid simultaneous operation helping to avoid sudden increase in load. As Smart Relay Genie base module consists of 4 relay outputs, the other two relay outputs can be used for controlling the lights based on either PIR sensor or time based logic. This helps in optimum energy utilization & increase the life of equipment.

Manual operation with the help of emergency pushbutton switches are also incorporated within the design to allow manual actuation of the system. This system not only save significant investment on system installation, but also on design, implementation, integration and maintenance.

With RS485 communication, it can remotely send information to central processing station, thereby remote triggering alarms /status can be configured. It also offers local LCD display, thus offering onsite user friendly control and system configuration.
