High Mast Lighting Application Using Astronomical Time Switch Astro


In high mast lighting application, it is required to control the system operation according to a daily or weekly frequency based on the sunset and sunrise timings.


The high mast light contains a luminaire ring that surrounds the pole with one or several independent lighting fixtures mounted around it. Most of the units have three, six or nine lights in the ring. The astronomical time switch is used to control the switching of high mast lights according to sunset and sunrise timings taking into account of the seasonal variation thus saving an ample amount of energy. The astronomical time switch has three independent output channels Q1, Q2, Q3. Lighting fixtures of the high mast light are connected to these output channels which are operated in alternate sequence as below: Q1 & Q2 or Q2 & Q3 or Q3 & Q1, Q1 or Q2 or Q3 on alternate days in order to increase energy saving and product life expectancy.

Indoor Light Control Using Digital Time Switch Crono


It is required to automatically control the office indoor lighting in order to reduce the consumption of electrical energy.


The Digital Time Switch Crono from GIC is used to accurately switch ON/OFF indoor lights at a specified time during the day. Real time clock (RTC), weekend exclusion and weekly OFF programming helps user to have flexibility over timing as per the specific applications like office, staircase, parking lights, etc. thus saving significant amount of energy. Advanced features like 25 ON/OFF programs, 6-years battery reserve and 5 operating modes enables wide application base for automatic lighting control.

Street Light Control Using Astronomical Time Switch Astro


It is required to automatically control the switching of street lights according to the sunrise and sunset timing for optimum utilization of energy.


Astronomical Time Switches Astro from GIC are used to automatically control the street lights as per sunset and sunrise timings based on the longitude and latitude of that particular location. The street lights will be switched ON at sunset and switched OFF at sunrise thereby incorporating seasonal variation along with maximum available daylight which helps in achieving optimum utilization of energy. Astronomical Time Switch is also controlled by ERT 5 - GSM Module by sending SMS from the user mobile phone. This facilitates remote control of the streetlights from any location offering complete control over the system. The user defined seasonal mode, 6-years battery reserve and protection against under and over voltages makes astronomical time switches a perfect solution for effective lighting automation.

Tool design and manufacturing forms an important aspect of GIC’s expertise. The tool room is equipped with EDM Wire cut machines of Japanese make, EDM small hole drilling machines, spark erosion machines, universal grinding machines and several other heavy duty, high precision machines to attain top notch quality tools and moulds.

GIC is an expert at manufacturing various injection moulded plastic and sheet metal components.
We’ve Installed a state-of-the-art component manufacturing facility equipped with Injection Moulding machines by international manufacturers like ARBURG and ENGEL. Auxiliaries such as Mould Temperature Controllers, Hot Air Dryers, Robotic Pick systems and Vacuum Loaders requiring minimum human intervention for its electronic automation products and customized products, have also been installed.

Product Assembly

Product Assembly

The assembly department is housed in an anti-static and dust free environment. Decked with a semi-automated production line, the assembly of a variety of products is done by highly skilled workers using an in-house designed software, hardware, test equipment, jigs and fixtures.
Automated Surface Mounting Technology (SMT) line is employed for manufacturing PCB. The SMT facility helps in minimising contamination and eliminates common defects like wrong polarity, dry solder, no solder and wrong component placement. This enhances the product quality, increases productivity and helps attain a cost effective production cycle with minimum lead-time in order execution.



The smart and ergonomic warehousing solution from Cardex has helped in the optimal use of space, thus ensuring that ever increasing storage needs are kept in check.

Esbee Electrotech LLP is engaged in the manufacture of an extensive range of products that cater to the needs of the general engineering, as well as white goods industry.

It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company with International approvals like CE, CSA, VDE, UL, ‘S’ Mark, CSA and TUV. The company undertakes continuous in-house endurance testing, to ensure the products are high on reliability.
